2009 Ducky Derby A Huge Success!

Castle Rock Radio joined thousands of visitors on Saturday, May 9th, 2009 in downtown Castle Rock for the Ducky Derby.  Sponsored by the Rotary Club, visitors enjoyed vendor booths, activities, LIVE broadcasts all day long with Castle Rock Radio, great food and beverages, and of course the Ducky Derby event itself!

Hundreds of contest participants won prizes when their ducky was one of the first to escape the cement mixer into a waiting duck pond.  It was an awesome day in the community, all to support the great the causes championed by the Rotary Clubs.

Jock Talk Adds Veteran Broadcaster

Castle Rock Radio welcomes veteran broadcaster and journalist, Mr. Sam Adams, as co-host of Jock Talk that airs LIVE on Mondays and Fridays from 9-10AM MST.  Sam's impressive resume includes sports reporting in television, radio, print, online media, and most recently as a lead reporter for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado.  We eagerly look forward to his contribution to Jock Talk.  Now our own Cello "McLovin'" Romano has another sports junkie to dialog with about the most exciting local and national sports teams and games.  Check out this duo and chime in with your opinions.  Call 888-321-RADIO (888-321-7234) to join in the conversation.
