Kevin Walmsley has been in the financial services industry since 2002, advising individuals, business owners, and retirees.
An Army veteran, Kevin spent nine years as an intelligence analyst and linguist. After leaving military service, he became the Controller and Treasurer of a medium-sized manufacturing and distribution company on the Gulf Coast. In 2002, he joined the Principal Financial Group. In 2005, he moved over to Smith Barney, where he managed individual portfolios of stocks, bonds, and listed options.
In 2008, he left Smith Barney to join an independent firm, Harbor Financial Services, LLC. He holds the Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses, and is a Series 24 Registered Securities Principal.
At “The Money Edge”, we know that the economic environment is tough. There is a recession, which is being deeply felt nationwide. But for us and our listeners, we can choose not to participate. We will survive and thrive, despite the tough economic times we are in, and which will persist over the next dozen years.
Kevin is a single dad of four children, and he is always proud of at least three of them, on a rotating basis. He loves the Colorado outdoors, and even when on his frequent travels on business, can never wait to get back to the Rocky Mountain State.
