Another Music Scene with Gene
There is nothing better than live music to soothe our souls and excite our senses.
Gene Morris and Michi Theis invite musicians into the studio to play and talk about their music. A fun hour that lets you, the listener, learn more about the artists and where their songs emanate from. It's like being at a live concert in your own living room put on just for you. Gene's music is part of Castle Rock Radio's regular programming.
Hosts:
Gene Morris - performer and songwriter. He has been playing music since his mother taught him to play the piano at 5 years old. Gene played the Austin music scene in the 70s and 80s with artists such as Eric Johnson and Christopher Cross. He helped create the Sixth Street Venue District which is THE place to hear live music in Austin. Currently Gene plays music from his 5 CDs in venues all over the Denver area and is constantly writing new songs inspired by his crazy life.

Michi Theis - likes to listen to all kinds of music but is a terrible musician. She took piano lessons at the age of 9 but quit after 5 years when she realized her piano teacher, Mrs. Anderson, kept falling asleep during her lessons. She works as Gene's manager and friend (which she doesn't have to work at because Gene is such a great guy), and enjoys her husband, family, friends, church, and pets Benny and Molly.
